"Omaha!" Almost as exciting as Peyton Manning makes it sound

Updated: Dec 11, 2021

Day 2: 11/22/2021

For the first time ever, we can say we woke up in a Bass Pro Shops parking lot. Nothing too exciting, although we did get to see our first waterfall of the trip, even if it was indoors.

We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon with Adam’s sister, Rachel. We had a great brunch at First Watch (we really recommend the eggs benedict BLT). We then finished our time by getting to tour Omaha and Creighton University. One of the fun activities we did was walk on the Pedestrian Bridge, which connects Nebraska and Iowa. So in this picture, Adam is in Iowa while Rachel and I are in Nebraska.

After saying our goodbyes to Rachel, we are on the road again. This time we are heading north to Sioux Falls, SD. Thankfully tonight we will be staying at Adam’s aunt and uncle's house and not a random parking lot. Our day ended with an amazing homemade meal and a warm bed to sleep in.
